| Here at John Scotti we are proud to present to you a 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Stingray Fuelly. This beautiful example of a Corvette Stingray has only 28249 original miles,the car has been repainted once,otherwise it is an original survivor. The best way to describe the '64 Corvette Sting ray:a sports car with a dual personality.All four versions of the Corvettes celebrated engine have a 327-cubic-inch displacement,4" bore and 3.25" stroke. The transmission is a close-ratio 4-speed manual with standard axle ratio of 3.70 and posi-traction. This model a RPO L84 375 hp fuel injected 327cid V-8 has a special cam-shaft,new cylinder heads with extra-large valves,domed aluminum pistons,an 11.0:1 compression ratio a high speed valve system with special valve lifters,ribbed aluminum rocker covers and a 5-quart oil capacity. Chevrolet made only 8,304 fuel-injected Sting Ray coupes.They sold for $4,252 and up and weighed 2,945 lbs.The $4,037 convertible weighed in at 2,960 lbs and had a 13,925-unit production run.
