AC came back after second world war with two liter segment of cars in 1947. Ace sports car of AC was the car that changed the history of AC cars in 1953. Early AC Cobra Cars had two litre overhead camshaft which produced 100 bhp , straight six engine that gave a top speed of 164 km/hr . it reached 0-60 in 13 seconds . AC Cobra Many British car manufacturers were using the Bristol smooth refined V6 engine. Even AC cars used the same engine produced by Bristol, produced hand made luxury cars. later it stopped manufacturing their 6-cylinder engine in 1961 . AC Cobra then started using Ford V8 engine in the Ace chassis which then became AC Cobra in 1962. Ace was the previous model before AC Cobra.
